This course will teach you the tricks of how to do it.

Contents of Course

  • Introduction to SEO – dealing with the myths. What’s ethical and what isn’t. What works and what doesn’t.
  • Getting the basics right – submitting sites to directories and other strategies.
  • Free tools / programmes.
  • Keywords – how to identify them, how they work, how to write key-word based copy, and where to put them
  • How to make your website Google friendly – simple steps that anyone can use.
  • Building incoming links.
  • Using Twitter, Facebook and other social media for SEO.
  • Maintaining and improving your position.

Date: The SEO training course will run from 10.30-6pm (with an hour for lunch) on September 19, 2012.

Venue: CIoJ Head office, 2 Dock Offices, Surrey Quays Road, London, SE16 2XU.

Cost: £30 Institute members, £60 non-members. This includes light lunch and refreshments.
